About the Intensive

Following on last year's successful Negotiation Masterclass, PACT is offering another pre-conference day of negotiation professional development content.

This is an all-day specialized training session that offers a deeper understanding of mastering the necessary leadership skill of negotiations.

The Intensive will offer participants perspective, best practices, and experience with negotiating regional and specific agreements including:

Negotiation Preperation with Lisa Li (Executive Director, Tarragon Theatre) and Camilla Holland (Executive Director, Young People's Theatre)
Negotiating Partnership Agreements with David Abel (Managing Director, NAC English Theatre), Lisa Li (Executive Director, Tarragon Theatre), and Lori Marchand (Managing Director, NAC Indigenous Theatre)
A 4-hour masterclass on IATSE Negotiations with Mark Lavaway (Director, Labour Relations & Business Development, Mirvish Productions) Lyndee Hansen (Executive Director, The Grand Theatre) and Kelly Straughan (Executive Director, Theatre Aquarius).

Participation is open to anyone from a PACT organization.
Travel, accommodations, and meals are all at the responsibility of the participant.
Participants will be notified of their participation the week of February 17, 2026.
