 The company creates professional, contemporary, innovative productions of the works of William Shakespeare that are accessible to all audiences (regardless of age, ability, education, or income levels), while also developing new audiences and mentoring theatre professionals of the future.

Job Description

The Free Will Players Theatre Guild is seeking an experienced Head of Scenic Art for the 2026 Freewill Shakespeare Festival. This lead role oversees all scenic painting and surface treatments, working closely with the Production Manager and Set Designer to realize the visual world of the productions. The contract runs from April 28 through June 7, 2026, at $26.50 per hour, up to 40 hours per week.
