The Free Will Players is a not-for-profit theatre company formed in 1989 to present the Freewill Shakespeare Festival.

 The company creates professional, contemporary, innovative productions of the works of William Shakespeare that are accessible to all audiences (regardless of age, ability, education, or income levels), while also developing new audiences and mentoring theatre professionals of the future.

Job Description

The Free Will Players Theatre Guild is seeking an experienced Head of Audio for the 2026 Freewill Shakespeare Festival. This department-lead role oversees the planning, installation, and execution of all audio systems, working closely with the Sound Designer and Production Manager to ensure consistent, high-quality sound throughout the festival. The contract runs from June 2 through July 16, 2026, at $26.50 per hour, up to 40 hours per week.
