Registration is now open for PACTcon 2023!

June 7 to 10 – Kamloops / Tk'emlúps

PACTcon, PACT's annual gathering, is an opportunity to share vital experiences and deep encounters with your theatre colleagues from across Canada. The connections made and conversations started at the event carry through the rest of the year and often spark creative partnerships, mentorships, and joint projects.

The annual gathering is open to theatre leaders and other staff at PACT Member Companies and PACT Colleagues, as well as anyone from beyond the membership who would like to attend. Theatre artists, managers, administrators, and board members are all encouraged to join us. The more voices in the room, the richer our conversations will be.

The theme this year is Planting Seeds.

Many natural systems move in patterns of loss and renewal, at odds with capitalism’s imperative for endless growth. The cones of B.C.’s lodgepole pines only release their seeds under the extreme heat of a forest fire. This adaptation means they are ready to grow soon after the destruction.

After three years of calamity, what new seeds are we planting in our field? How can we regrow a more diverse and resilient sector? At PACT’s national gathering, we’ll get our hands dirty and start the long process of regeneration.

Pay What You Can Afford Pricing

In recognition of the ongoing financial challenges in our sector, early birds can take advantage of Pay What You Can Afford registration with price options as low as $125 for full access to the gathering. Book these rates by March 10th.

Stay with PACT

PACT has secured room blocks at the Delta Hotels Kamloops and the Sandman Signature Kamloops Hotel. We encourage you to stay at one of our official hotels for convenient access to the gathering and downtown Kamloops. Our blocks are limited and room bookings are subject to availability, so book early to guarantee your spot at our special rates.
