Special Edition Town Hall: Proposed Bylaw Revisions

PACT Regular/Commercial and Affiliate Members are invited to a special edition town hall to discuss the proposed changes to the PACT bylaws, ask questions, and share feedback. 

The Proposed Bylaw Revisions Special Edition Town Hall will take place on Thursday September 10, 2:15pm - 2:45pm ET. 

Over the past year PACT’s Governance and Nominating Committee, led by Nina Lee Aquino (co-Past Presdient of PACT's Board; Artistic Director, National Arts Centre - English Theatre) and Michael Payette (co-Past President of PACT's Board; Artistic Director, Tarragon Theatre), have been doing a review of the corporation’s bylaws. It had been 13 years since the previous review, and so the aim of this exercise was to clarify elected terms and vacancies, recognize the addition of Colleagues, and update language to better reflect our practices.

These revisions have been endorsed by PACT’s Board of Directors, reviewed by legal counsel, and are now presented to the Membership for review and ratification. 

During this session, Brad Lepp (PACT's Executive Director), Nina Lee Aquino, Michael Payette, and other Governance and Nominating Committee Members will go over the proposed changes and answer any questions you may have.

VOTING INFORMATION

An electronic Membership vote will take place through Simply Voting, a secure voting software, from Monday, September 14 to Friday, September 21 closing at 11:59pm ET. Details will be sent directly to the vote holder of each organization.

All Regular/Commercial and Affiliate Members in good standing are eligible to vote on the ratification of the proposed bylaws.
