PACT's Environmental Stewardship Committee is excited to support Associated Designers of Canada (ADC) in presenting the newly developed Green Collaboration Guide to our sector through Ready, Set, Green: An Intro to the ADC Green Collaboration Guide.

About This Session:

The ADC Green Committee has created a quick-start tool that will help theatre companies take collaborative action towards climate change. This short 4-page document is a production-specific guideline and checklist designed to help teams easily overcome the barriers to starting green work. This guide will help producers, production managers, designers, and craft teams to work more sustainably and to implement solutions for a greener practice within the performance sector. 

Taking place on Wednesday October 22, at 1:00pm ET, this learning session will be hosted by Holly Meyer-Dymny who will take you through the steps of this guide and help you understand how you can make it a part of your regular production planning and execution. There will be a short presentation followed by a Q&A. Companies are encouraged to invite members of their production team to this session. Please bring your curiosity and a spirit of collaboration.

About The Presenters:

Holly Meyer-Dymny (they/she) is an award-winning theatre designer, educator, painter, and arts advocate. They create Set, Lighting, and Projection Designs for theatre, dance, opera, and musical theatre. Her work focuses on conversation, collaboration, holistic design, mentorship, and accessible, greener practices. Holly is the East Coast Rep for ADC659 and co-runs the ADC Green Committee with Ken Mackenzie.
