PACT’s Peer to Peer groups are an opportunity to connect with colleagues who work in similar roles at theatres across the country. Led by peers and PACT staff, these 60-minute sessions offer a casual and conversational forum to share ideas, discuss common challenges, and build on your successes.

Management & Executives: Solutions Lab

The peer to peer is open to all managing directors, general managers, executive directors, and others who work on the business side of PACT member companies, as well as PACT Colleagues. This peer to peer conversation is facilitated by Laura McCallum (Outside the March).

The conversation will consist of 2-3 topics selected in advance, based off participant submissions and requests, followed by an open discussion, wherein the group can share experiments, troubleshoot and share ideas, turning collective knowledge and different perspectives into creative solutions. 
 
There will be an opoprtunity during registration to share challenges, questions or thoughts -- which will be used to craft the peer to peer agenda.

Group sizes are kept small to ensure participation and engagement -- so register early!

The Management & Executives Peer to Peer will be held on:
Thursday, October 22, 2026 at 1:00pm ET. 
 
As this a peer led session, during sign up participants will have the opportunity to offer what they would like to discuss with their peers.

Laura McCallum (she/her) is the Managing Director at Outside the March, overseeing finance, human resources, strategy, and day-today opertaions. Her previous producing has involved activating unusual venues, including a federal prison in Kitchener a penthouse suite in downtown Toronto, and a military fort in Niagara-on-the-Lake. She's a graduate of Humber's Arts Administration and Cultural Management post-graduate program, and the Theatre & Drama Studies program at the University of Toronto Mississauga and Sheridan College. She enjoys volunteering for the Toronto Theatre Database and making her seasonal theatre directories.
