Developing an Ethical AI Framework for Your Organization

There is no shortage of pressure to figure out AI right now. Most organizations respond by either rushing in without a plan or waiting until someone else goes first. This session is a third option.

AI Educator Avery Swartz will walk you through a practical, grounded, and realistic framework for AI adoption for Canadian performing arts organizations. You'll work through the questions that matter: Where could AI serve your organization? What risks are worth taking seriously? What's the plan for upskilling your team? How do you create an environment where AI use is visible, discussed, and encouraged? Which tasks should remain human-led? Who reviews AI generated output, and when? How do you stay compliant with privacy law, and ensure data security? When do you disclose AI use, and to whom?

Participants will begin filling in their own AI Adoption Framework worksheet during the session, and leave with a Values Alignment worksheet to pressure-test their approach against their organization's own stated values. You walk away with something to work from, not just something to think about.

This session is taking place on Monday May 25, at 2:30pm ET / 11:30am PST.

Register for this event by Friday May 22, to ensure you receive the meeting link. This is a paid session, $30 for Members and $60 for non-Members.

Registration for this session is priced for individuals.
