Job Description

Production Stage Manager (PSM)

Hallmarkish – December 2026
Paquin Exhibitions & Theatrical Inc. | Toronto, ON

Hallmarkish is a high-energy, feel-good holiday production inspired by the charm and nostalgia of classic holiday romance films. We’re seeking an experienced Production Stage Manager (PSM) to lead stage management from rehearsal through performance on this fast-paced, cue-driven production.

The Role

The PSM is the central point of coordination for the production—leading communication, maintaining the calling script, and ensuring seamless execution across all departments. You will call all performances and work closely with the Director, Choreographer, and Producers to uphold the integrity of the show.

Key Responsibilities

§  Attend all rehearsals, technical rehearsals, and performances

§  Build, maintain, and call the show from the master script

§  Develop backstage run tracks and stage documentation

§  Organize rehearsal schedules and distribute daily reports

§  Lead backstage operations and communication across departments

§  Coordinate with FOH to ensure the show is performance-ready

§  Run tech, call cues, and manage real-time show execution

 What You Bring

§  Proven experience as a PSM or Senior SM on live theatrical productions

§  Strong cue-calling experience (cue-dense shows preferred)

§  Excellent organization, communication, and leadership skills

§  Calm, solutions-focused approach in high-pressure environments

§  Collaborative mindset with strong attention to detail

 Production Details

§  Production Period: November–December 2026

§  Run: December 2026 – early January 2027

§  Location: Toronto, ON

§  Rate: $1400-$1500 weekly based on experience

§  Engagement: Independent Contractor
