Company Overview

Vancouver based Boca del Lupo currently seeks a full-time Managing Producer. Boca del Lupo is led by Artistic Director Sherry J. Yoon and Artistic Producer Jay Dodge. Reporting to the Artistic Producer, this position is an excellent challenge for an experienced arts manager and leader passionate about the arts and eager to support Boca del Lupo’s programs and productions.

Job Description

The Managing Producer has a strategic mind in addition to an ability to execute and can work independently as well as part of a team.  Responsibilities include planning, curatorial and production coordination for the Live Performance 360 series, the SLaM Program and the Plays2Perform@ project. The position also supports the company’s touring efforts such as Red Phone which will be at PuSh in 2023 before travelling to South America in the Spring. The Managing Producer supports the processes of grant writing/reporting in concert with our Development Director and coordinates the company’s marketing and communication efforts alongside our Publicist and Graphic Designer.

In addition to producing responsibilities, this position has the following core accountabilities:

·   Communications and Operations: leading, coordinating and executing the ongoing activities of the organization including staffing, facilities, marketing, development, finances and audience/donor relations.

·   Fundraising and Administration: managing and ensuring grants and reports are created and submitted, statistics are gathered, annual reports are generated, and the key filings/responsibilities of the society are met.

This is a full-time position (35 hours a week).
