Membership in and Affiliation with PACT connects more than 140 professional theatre companies and a network of theatre professionals who believe in PACT's objectives and principles. Members also join theatre caucus groups including "A" Companies, Developmental, Established Alternative, Regional, Summer, and Theatre for Young Audiences.

Any not-for-profit organization that is engaged professionally in the creation of theatre in Canada, has produced at least one season in Canada (season as defined by the company) and has objectives consistent with those of PACT, is eligible for Regular Membership. Regular Members have voting rights and access to all of the services that PACT offers.
Any for-profit organization that is engaged professionally in the creation of theatre in Canada, has produced at least one production in Canada of twelve weeks or more, is producing on an ongoing basis, and has objectives consistent with those of PACT, is eligible for Commercial Membership. Commercial Members have voting rights and access to all of the services PACT offers.
Any not-for-profit or for-profit organization that is engaged professionally in the creation of theatre in Canada and has objectives consistent with those of PACT, is eligible for Associate Membership. Associate Membership is on a production-by-production basis, and gives the company access to all PACT standard contracts and all labour relations services for the duration of the Associate Membership. Associate Members may attend PACT's annual general meeting, but have no voting privileges.
Any incorporated organization that is engaged in the creation of professional theatre in Canada and does not operate under PACT's standard contracts but which is interested in participating in PACT networks and advocacy, may become a PACT Affiliate. Affiliates receive impact!, may attend regional and caucus group networking, and the annual general meeting in a non-voting capacity and receive discounts on PACT publications. Affiliates do not have access to PACT's labour relations services.
