PACT relies on donations and sponsorships to offer programs and services to our members. It is because of donations that PACT is able to offer valuable programs to our members such as the Travel Subsidy Program.

PACT strives to partner with companies that support the arts and/or the non-profit sector. As a national arts service association, PACT is in the unique position of being able to deliver messages to a network of over 130 professional theatres and their staff across the country.

Current Sponsorship Opportunities

Annual PACT Conference

The annual PACT Conference is open to all PACT Members and PACT supporters. On average, 150 professional theatre staff - the business and artistic decision-makers - attend over a period of three days. It's a perfect opportunity for a company interested in reaching all conference members through a session-sponsorship including in-room signage and a verbal acknowledgement by the Conference speaker. If sponsorship is secured by April, logo recognition is available on conference handouts.
 

Professional Development

PACT’s Professional Development Program offers workshops, seminars and discussion panels about major issues facing Canadian theatre and skill-building opportunities for those working in the industry. Educating PACT members and providing ongoing training and development ensures that Canadian theatre continues to grow. It is an ongoing goal to ensure that these events are accessible to all PACT members regardless of each company’s budget. Sponsorship of PACT’s Professional Development program would help guarantee access to all PACT members large or small. Mallory Gilbert Leadership Award

In celebration of PACT's 30th anniversary in 2006-2007 PACT initiated this award in honour of Mallory Gilbert, Tarragon Theatre's General Manager for 34 years and Past President of PACT. The annual Mallory Gilbert Leadership Award celebrates and recognizes outstanding leadership within the Canadian Theatre community. Sponsorship of the Mallory Gilbert Leadership Award would ensure sustained recognition of worthy Canadian theatre professionals and encourage excellence within the community. Travel Subsidy Fund

The Travel Subsidy program allows staff at PACT member companies the chance to attend the annual PACT Conference and AGM when it might otherwise be financial unavailable to them. At the 2012 PACT Conference and AGM in Grand Bend, Ontario, PACT was able to subsidize 14 members’ trips. The Travel Subsidy program is financed completely through donations. Sponsorship of the Travel Subsidy Fund would provide valauble networking and professional development opportunities to individuals who have financial difficulty or are not normally able to attend such events. To sponsor or donate to the Travel Subsidy Fund please download the Travel Subsidy Contribution Form.
