PACT sits on the Health and Safety Advisory Committee for the Live Performing Arts – a committee working in conjunction with the Ontario Ministry of Labour. One of the goals of the committee is to develop industry-specific guidelines for the live performance industry not only in Ontario but also for the entire country. The 3rd edition of Safety Guidelines for the Live Performance Industry in Ontario was published in August 2005 and is available from the Ontario Ministry of Labour.
 
The committee is currently working on a number of additional guidelines and an online version of the complete guide.
